Swagelok® Weld Heads

Swagelok weld heads hold the electrode, apply force to the workpiece, and ensure the flow of weld current. They are designed for reliable and consistent orbital gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) of tubes and pipes. Engineered for precision and durability, they ensure high-quality welds every time. Our weld heads feature precise control of welding parameters, easy setup, and robust construction to withstand demanding environments. They are compatible with various welding power supplies and can be customized to meet specific project needs.

Request Weld Head Information

Swagelok weld heads feature optical speed control, eliminating the need for a tachometer or calibration. With available weld head extension cables, you can perform welds farther from the power supply, offering greater flexibility.

These weld heads accommodate tubing with outside diameters ranging from 1/16 to 4 inches (2 to 114 mm). The polarized power connector ensures a proper connection between the weld head and power supply.

Our weld head selection includes:

Micro-Series 4 and Series 8 For outside diameters 1/16 to 1/2 in and 2 to 12 mm
Series 5 For outside diameters 1/8 to 5/8 in and 3 to 17.3 mm
Series 8HPH High-Performance For outside diameters 1/8 to 1/2 in and 3 to 12 mm
Series 10 For outside diameters 1/4 to 1 in and 6 to 25 mm
Series 20 For outside diameters 1/2 to 2 in and 12 to 52 mm
Series 40 For outside diameters 1 1/2 to 4 in and 38.1 to 114.3 mm for tube, and 1 1/4 to 4 in and 42.2 to 114.3 mm for pipe
