Swagelok VCR®メタル・ガスケット式面シール継手を高純度溶接システムで使用すると、信頼性の高い金属同士のシールが形成され、取り付けや取り外しを容易に行うことができます。高純度の材料から製造されており、狭いスペースでも容易に取り付けることが可能です。VCR継手は、システム流体や温度がエラストマー製Oリングに適合しない場合に適しています。
VCR®継手を見るSwagelok VCR®メタル・ガスケット式面シール継手は、業界初となる真空カップリング（vacuum coupling radius）継手であり、金属同士でシールする継手の業界基準を打ち立てました。Swagelok VCR継手は超高純度構造を採用しており、真空から正圧までの高純度アプリケーションに使用することができます。面シール継手は、チューブ継手に比べてたまり部分が少なくクリーンなため、低いパーティクル・レベルが求められるアプリケーションにおいて、コンタミネーションが生じる可能性を抑えます。金属同士でシールするため、エラストマーがシステム流体に適合しないアプリケーションにおいても使用することができます。
Swagelok VCR継手は 取り付けが容易 で、フットプリント（設置面積）がコンパクトなため、特にスペースが限られているさまざまなアプリケーションに適しています。精密に製造されたVCR継手のサイド・ロード式ガスケットは取り付けが容易で、抜きしろがほとんど不要なため、取り付けやメンテナンスに要する時間を短縮することができます。フロー・リストリクター（流量制限用）のボディは複数のオリフィス・サイズがあり、繰り返し流量の減少が必要な場合に適しています。
