pressure reducing regulators electrically heated

Swagelok® Pressure-Reducing Regulators, Electrically Heated Vaporizing

The KEV series electrically heated vaporizing pressure-reducing regulator is rated for use in hazardous areas and can vaporize liquid samples or preheat gas samples to prevent them from condensing.

Get Help Selecting Regulators

The KEV series is an electrically heated vaporizing regulator designed for liquid sample vaporization or gas sample preheating. It features a removable heating element in direct contact with the process fluid for maximum thermal efficiency and easy cleaning. Available in diaphragm or piston-sensing configurations, the KEV regulator is suitable for hazardous areas and includes an integral temperature controller.

The regulator’s electronic controller can override temperature settings to prevent overheating without interrupting evaporation. With its low internal volume and versatile design, the KEV regulator allows users to match products with specific application needs for sensitivity and outlet pressure, making it a flexible solution for various vaporization and preheating requirements.

The KEV regulator is ATEX, IECEx, UKEX and CSA certified for critical and hazardous environments as listed in the product catalog and have a T3 temperature classification for all heater ranges.
